Introduction to Open Educational Resources Online

Is textbook affordability and student access a challenge in your courses? Are you interested in finding openly licensed, no-cost educational materials for the courses you teach, including textbooks? Are you unsure about your rights to reuse and distribute content in class? In this session we will discuss Open Educational Resources (OER), open textbooks, Creative Commons licensing, and the ways you can use and create open content in your teaching to encourage student retention and success.

  • After registering you will receive a confirmation email with a calendar file attachment to add the event to your Outlook, Google, Apple, or other online calendar.  One hour before the event start time, you will also receive the information you need to join.
