Introduction to Mass Observation Online In-Person

Mass Observation Online is a unique collection of primary source documents about British life in the last years of the 20th century economic depression, World War II, and post-war reconstruction. Come to this session for an introduction to the resource, methods for exploring and searching, and examples of innovative projects using the documents. This resource covers many disciplines, including history, urban planning, women’s studies, labor, leisure activities, and psychology.
