Understanding Open Access in Academic Publishing Online
This workshop will help participants understand the open access movement in academic publishing. Attendees will learn what open access journals are and why they matter. Participants will learn the various ways they can participate in making their research openly available. They will also understand the difference between open access publications and predatory publishers and learn how to identify each.
