World Development Indicators: Human Development Data at the World Bank In-Person

Please join University Libraries for this introduction to World Development Indicators, an outstanding resource for finding data about human development and standards of living throughout the world and its countries. Drawing from national statistical agencies, central banks, and other sources, this World Bank database provides information about poverty, wealth, health, education, economies, natural resources, and the environment – from big picture items like gross domestic product and access to drinking water, to details like the price of gasoline and the number of ATMs per 100,000 people. Learn about retrieving this data about the U.S., other nations, and world regions in this 30-minute workshop.
