Digital Scholarship Series: Textual Analysis & Visualization Online
Text analysis has increasingly become an essential pillar of digital scholarship and academia. This workshop will introduce various “distant reading” techniques, discuss important applications, and highlight common misconceptions. Participants will learn the basic process for preparing text for analysis and will be introduced to Voyant, an online text mining platform.
- After registering you will receive a confirmation email with a calendar file attachment to add the event to your Outlook, Google, Apple, or other online calendar. One hour before the event start time, you will also receive the information you need to join.
